An unserer Schule sind engagierte Eltern in vielen Bereichen tätig und unterstützen die Lehrer bei Aktivitäten mit den Kindern.

Gewählte Vertreter der Eltern sind in offiziellen Gremien vertreten und tragen in diesem Rahmen zu Entscheidungen mit bei.
Zu nennen sind hier Schulvorstand, Schulelternrat, Förderverein, Gesamtkonferenzen, Fachkonferenzen, Zeugniskonferenzen, Klassenkonferenzen und die Elternvertreter jeder Klasse.

Neben der Teilnahme an offiziellen Gremien finden zusätzlich folgende Aufgaben die Unterstützung der Eltern, die teilweise auch von Großeltern erfolgt:

Organisation und Durchführung des gesunden Frühstücks, jeden Freitag in der 1. großen Pause
Helfer zur Durchführung der Bundesjugendspiele
Helfer zur Durchführung des ADAC-Turniers
Helfer zur Durchführung der Radfahrprüfung
Helfer zur musikalischen Gestaltung der Schulgottesdienste
Organisation des Schulfestes
Lesemütter bzw. Leseväter in verschiedenen Klassen
Begleitung zur unterstützenden Aufsicht bei Klassenausflügen und Klassenfahrten

Alle diese Aktivitäten und Angebote könnten ohne Elternmitarbeit nicht oder nur sehr eingeschränkt stattfinden.
